The final fully funded workshop for SME manufacturers, provided by Economic Growth Solutions in partnership with the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub will take place on Thursday 8th November.
Throughout 2018, 5-half day Manufacturing workshops have been delivered in the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire region to support SME Manufacturers growth ambitions by featuring different topics with key takeaway learnings to implement into their businesses.
The final workshop will be delivered on the 8th November in Cannock Chase and will focus on Process Mapping of Value Streams focusing learning to see ‘Value vs. Waste’ in your business.

This half day workshop will focus on how to identify and prioritise improvements within business.

- What is Value Stream Mapping
- How it can dramatically improve your business
- Drawing the “Current-State” Map
- What makes a Value Stream “Lean”
- Drawing the “Future-State Map”
- Achieving the “Future-State”
Each workshop will offer practical group exercises which are informative and fully participative, they help delegates identify challenges and offer practical solutions to take back into your business and develop the skills of employees.
Actions from the workshop are designed for delegates to apply into their business, aimed at improving productivity, efficiency and profit.
